Reentry Services Coordinator
(Full Time)
Pay range: $16.00 – $17.50 per hour

Purpose: To implement and coordinate services and programs of Inside Out Reentry, including volunteer coordination, event planning, managing administrative aspects, and comprehensive case management. The Reentry Services Coordinator will work with Inside Out staff and volunteers to serve individuals who have been involved with the criminal legal system and assisting them in achieving success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer coordination including recruitment, training, communication, and supervision of volunteers, including running the volunteer mentor program.
  • Perform intakes and maintain member files within timelines.
  • Provide reentry coaching re: housing, employment, behavioral health and other needs to members, as well as assisting members with developing personalized reentry plans and goal setting.
  • Coordinate and provide referrals, as well as follow up to ensure needs are being met, as well as providing systems advocacy for members as needed
  • Planning and organizing special events for participants and for community outreach, education, and fundraising
  • Assist with fundraising, process donations in donor and accounting software, and send donor thank you letters
  • Assist with social media accounts, create flyers, outreach materials, brochures, posters
  • Assist with tracking income and expenses for organization and designated grant funding.
  • Manage office, including ordering supplies
  • Assist with the functioning, maintenance, and staffing of the drop-in center
  • Other duties as needed

Coordinator Qualifications:

  • An Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field of study with a minimum of 1 year of directly related experience is required. Relevant experience may substitute for educational preference.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Passion for working with returning citizens and improving reentry services in our community
  • Experience with volunteer coordination preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize activities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must have reliable transportation
